On 15-16 September I will be giving a clinic about Straightness training on Gotland Riding Academy
This clinic, including theory and practical lessons, is for beginners who are ready to overcome their riding problems but also for professional level riders who are ready to take their work with their horse to a higher level.
The clinic provides you a solid basis for doing straightness training with your horse in hand and under the saddle.
After the weekend you will have the information and confidence that you need to work independently at home.

You can participate in two ways: as a rider or as a surveyor.
As a rider you will be receiving private tuition with your own horse and participate in the theory lessons.   We’ll put the theory into practice and we’ll address the issues that you bring.
As a surveyor you will be able to watch the riders and participate in the theory lessons.
My intention is that everybody goes home with a lot of inspiration and more insight in how to supple and straighten your horse and how to get a light, obedient, confident and calm horse that is a pleasure to ride.

Programme

 15 September

09.00 -10.00:                       First part of the theory
10.00 – 14.00:                      All riders receive their first riding lesson
14.00 – 14.30:                       Lunch
14.30 – 15.30:                      Second part of the theory
15.30 – 19.30:                      All riders receive their second riding lesson
20.00 :                                     Dinner

16 September

09.00 – 10.00:                     Third part of the theory
10.00 – 14.00:                      All riders receive their third riding lesson and a training schedule for at home.
14.00:                                       Lunch and closure of the weekend clinic

Clinic 3700,- SEK

Theory student 900,- SEK

Extras:

Dubbelroom: 300SEK /bed
Dinner 15 September: 200SEK
Room for your horse:  100SEK/night
Lunch and breakfast is included in the clinic price.

Dear Hanna,

Last weekend I was at your clinic with  my Haflinger horse.
This is my first clinic also for the horse en we enjoyed it so match ,Its the way you explain it and its clear to me that no one could tell me how to find a correct balance and now you did.
I was flowing above my horse and felt so free  .
This is exactly what I was surging for.,
I will never ever forget this and my thanks is so big ,you don’t have a idea how you helped me!
I will come in the summer at your riding school to learn more because now I,m hungry for more but first I will practice  what you have tell me about balance.
Also I have now your video  so I will tell you soon about my breathing and more .

We like to remember the fantastic summer of 2011!

I will say: Thank you to all our guests and students making our farm at Gotland so much alive! When I am thinking back on the spring, summer and autumn, I have fantastic memories and experiences! So many interesting people whom has visiting Ekeskogs!

During this luxurious long weekend 1-4 Sept you will be treated to full board at the farm, with a relaxing
massage and possibility to use the new sauna down by the creek.
Oh, and learn how to achieve an independent seat in the saddle, of course!
The independent seat – the basis of the art of riding
The program is constructed in a way to give you the possibility to watch also the other riders, and
spend time with them. During this time you will be thinking about your own, personal development.
If you want we can film your private lesson and go through it during the day (after lunch). This is a
very good way to work with your own development.
